Cracks can be caused by many things such as a poor base or sub base, thin material, load, salt, temperature, and water. To help prevent anymore damage and stop water from getting under the asphalt and freezing, we apply a hot rubberized compound into each crack for a proper seal, all cracks are cleaned and prepped prior to sealing to ensure an even application, and to help the rubber bond with the asphalt. We always recommend routing each crack 1/2"x1/2" prior to sealing, this allows an even application throughout the entire crack and a maximum bond with the asphalt.

Shattered/Aligated asphalt cannot be repaired with rubber, but any lineal cracks can be sealed prolonging the life of the asphalt.


  1. We start by routing out each suitable crack (If required)

  2. The next step is to blow out all of the cracks and make sure they are free of dirt/vegetation

  3. We then pre-heat the cracks to remove all of the moisture from under the asphalt to allow for maximum bonding

  4. Then we apply the hot rubber compound evenly into each prepped crack forming a water tight seal with the asphalt

  5. Once the rubber has cooled down we are able to open up the area for traffic again
